Diaphragm Pump

The world of pharmaceuticals is understandably very careful when it comes to pumping. To insure minimum risk of contamination or to minimise waste of some very expensive ingredients. The list of requests was quite comprehensive.

The criteria given included

  • Less than 3 ppm of chlorine in the testing water
  • ASME B16.5 Flanges
  • Optional 300lb Flanges
  • Integrated Pulsation Dampeneners

  • ISO 9001

Working closely with Dellmeco one of our key suppliers, we adapted their core Conductive PTFE range to create the modified DM series pumps which ticks all the boxes required.

The first order for 30 units has been delivered for a new facility being built in Scotland, with new plants being rolled out with this design as a company standard.
