Our customer a world leading producer of pharmaceuticals had a product brief:-
ATEX compliant to Zone 1 Cat 2
FDA Approved materials, in this case PTFE FDA Regulation 21 CFR 177.1550
PN16 Connections and integrated pulsation dampeners.

The Dellmeco range of compressed air AODD  pumps conformed to this level of specification and higher for some components and was the obvious choice for this application.
